Rachel is one of the founders of Physio Action with over 30 years' experience as a Senior Physiotherapist, combining extensive experience in Private Practice with a career working in elite sporting environments.
SPECIALISMS: Sports injury assessment, diagnosis + rehabilitation with a special interest in adolescent and young athletic injuries.
Lower limb + shoulder rehabilitation returning players from injury to their chosen activity or sport.

ACHIEVEMENTS: Lead Physiotherapist for the England Rugby U18 Girls, England Counties & Yorkshire RUFC. Physiotherapy Consultant at Leeds Tykes Rugby Club. Faculty member for PHICIS pitch-side course.
BIO: Rachel is a highly experienced sports physio with a reputation for delivering athlete-centred care across all levels of sport. She has developed particular expertise in the assessment, rehabilitation + performance management of adolescent athletes, helping young sportspeople safely return to competition while minimising the risk of recurrent injury.
Throughout her career, Rachel has worked extensively with elite rugby, travelling internationally with England Rugby squads to provide physiotherapy support during training camps + competitive tours. Her experience spans injury prevention, acute pitch-side management, rehabilitation, return-to-play planning + multi-disciplinary performance support.
Rachel’s passion for sport extends beyond her professional career. A former Junior Regional + County tennis player, she regularly competed in tournaments + coached while completing her physiotherapy training.
Outside of work, she enjoys supporting her twin boys, who compete in representative hockey and cricket - meaning much of her spare time is ‘happily!’ spent on the sidelines.
